How to use

Upload a petri dish photograph and the model will return a segmentation overlay with root tips marked.

Best results with:

  • Well-lit, in-focus images
  • White or light-coloured petri dish background
  • Single dish per image

The model was trained on [N] images from [lab/institution]. Accuracy may vary on images from significantly different experimental setups.
